LSBU Business School's Professional Lecture Series is back after a summer break with a fresh round of engaging & insightful lectures and this time, we're delivering them in person!
As previously, the series has been curated to address the learning needs of our staff, students, local business communities & beyond by providing professional insight, sharing experiences & reflections and facilitating networks. Our events are open to all and everyone is welcome so please do share them with anyone you feel might be interested in attending.

Description: This lecture explores how a contemporary Business School based in the heart of London interacts with the local community to provide support to local business, through advice, research, training, workshops and targeted interventions.
We currently work with local businesses through our Business Solutions Centre, supporting local networks (Chambers of Commerce and Philanthropic organisations), Bids, research (most currently in the High Street) and delivery of the Government Help to Grow programme.

You will be working with industry and academic professionals and developing our students’ skills through experiential learning opportunities- both in the curriculum and beyond.
At LSBU, we run a portfolio of business and innovation support programmes () that support local micros and SME to collaborate, innovate and grow. The programmes:
• promote inclusive growth by working with disadvantaged communities
• Supports starts up through to established business
• Provides access to academic and student expertise, facilities, one to one support, workshops and masterclasses
We are also delivering a growing programme of grant funded digital skills and employment support.
